    I haven't read all of this yet, but this issue is so dear to me. Our generation LONGS for the days of the Harlem Renaissance and the Black Arts Movement. Where are the authors who really want to say something?!

    Good article. It is really sad. You also have video vixens all writing their books as well. It's enough that we have all these images on television, but now in literature as well. Our generation is missing out on learning more about the power of our heritage.
