If we want to build up African American business and build more opportunity in our community, then we have to save. In 2005, the US had a negative real saving rate and we have had about a 2% of GDP saved in the years preceding that. That is the lowest rate of saving in the industrial world. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Buppies in their BMWs could trade down for a Toyota Camary and use the money to buy a CD at &lt;a href="http://OneUnited.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;OneUnited.com&lt;/a&gt;. But of course, we need the wheels to impress the girls.
